A group of fatwas related to the fasting menstruating woman during Ramadan and her subsequent fasting
We start our discussion of a menstruating woman who must break her fast as it is not permissible for her to pray, and she has to make up for fasting without praying, when it was proven that Aisha, may God be pleased with her, was asked: Does a menstruating woman make up fasting and praying? She said: (We were commanded to make up the fast and not to make up the prayer). Whoever delays the judiciary until after Ramadan without a legitimate excuse, it must repent with the judiciary and feed poor people for every day.
- And on a menstruating woman’s fast if she cleansed before dawn breaks and if a menstruating woman cleansed before dawn and did ghusl, he added: Her fast is valid if she is certain of purity before dawn breaks, then the woman has to pause until she is certain that she has been cleansed, and if she has cleansed, she intends to fast even if she does not wash until after dawn, but She also has to observe the prayer, and she takes the time to wash, to perform the Fajr prayer on time.
- If a woman menstruates shortly after sunset, her fasting is valid even if she feels the symptoms of menstruation before sunset, from pain and pain, but she did not see him outside until after sunset, then her fast is valid, because the one who spoils fasting is the exit of menstrual blood and not the feeling of it.
- As for the ruling on menstruating women, if they became pure during the day in Ramadan, they continued saying: They must keep the correctest of the two scholarly opinions regarding the disappearance of the legal excuse.
- He made it clear that the old woman who cannot tolerate fasting should feed a poor person for each day half a saa 'of the country's food from dates, rice, or others, and its amount by weight is a kilo and a half as a matter of approximation. A group of companions of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, according to whom Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with him and on their behalf, stated that if she is poor and cannot feed, then nothing is required of her, and this atonement may be paid to one or more at the beginning, middle, or end of the month.
And he explained that it is better for a woman to pray in her home for the general saying of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “And their homes are better for them.” For a woman to stay in her house is better for her than to go out to pray in the mosque, and the sermons and hadiths can be obtained through other means.
He pointed out that the ruling on food taste during the day in Ramadan, and the woman fasting, his ruling is OK because of the need for it, but she uttered what she tasted.
