Judgment on the permissibility of kissing between spouses during fasting
A question that worries many husbands during Ramadan, and it is about the legality of the husband accepting his wife during fasting, especially if these kisses are far from desire. An inquiry about this topic was answered by the preacher, Dr. Nadia Amara.
• My husband and I used to accept each other in honor and affection without desire, and this is what we do in Ramadan as well. Is this permissible during the day in Ramadan?
** It is permissible, but there is a kiss called the kiss of honor, which is when the husband comes from his work and enters his home and accepts his wife, and there is the kiss of pampering if he will own himself and not end in intercourse then there is no objection. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to accept his wives during the day in Ramadan, and Mrs. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: “The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to accept while he was fasting, and your possession was to his Lord.” Ejaculation, or intercourse, otherwise it is hated.
