Kaspersky cooperated with the Saudi Federation for Cyber ​​Security, Programming, and Drones to provide a three-day course for beginners in digital security within the CyberHub training program for university students across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was held as part of a joint educational initiative designed to enrich students' knowledge of information security Its most important concepts and mechanisms, as well as tools for protection from digital threats.

More than 1,500 students, none of whom had previously received training in digital security, participated in the training program, which took place between 2 and 4 June.

For his part, (Mohammed Al-Ghamdi) - Director of the Cybersecurity Track at the Saudi Federation for Cyber ​​Security, Programming and Drones - said in his comment on the training program: There is an ongoing need to raise awareness of digital security in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, confirming the Union's commitment to provide young people with the knowledge they need to ensure Digital protection in the internet world, and building digital security capabilities in the face of digital threats in the Kingdom. He added: “Thanks to the CyberHub initiative and its training programs, we have come closer to achieving our desired goals.”

Throughout the three days and a total of 12 training hours, students involved in the program received various topics including 'Introduction to Digital Security', 'Areas of Digital Security', and 'Attacks and Defense in the Field of Digital Security'. Lectures each day of the training focused on a specific topic. The course included a series of games and interactive quizzes aimed at making learning fun and easy.

During the course, students were able to learn in practice the basics of digital threats and vulnerabilities, methods of protection and modern trends in the field of digital security. Those who completed their training assignments and passed the final examination received a certificate from Kaspersky.
