Alexandrian yellow Koshary from the Egyptian kitchen




Ingredients:


A cup of yellow lentils, washed and drained


A cup of Egyptian rice, washed and drained


2 cups boiling water


Boiled and peeled eggs


My obesity


Cumin


· salt


· black pepper


 oil


How to prepare:


Sauté rice in oil with salt and pepper


Add a cup of water and leave it to a boil


Then add lentils, cumin and a cup of water once


Leave on low heat, cover and leave until fully cooked


Fry boiled eggs in ghee with salt, pepper and cumin


Serve koshary with fried boiled eggs, green salad and fried onions on top.
