Learn how to take good care of your teeth during Ramadan !!!
With the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, care must be taken of our bodies as a result of extreme fatigue, thirst, and other physiological changes that may affect the health of our bodies.
Teeth are one of the most important of these elements that must be taken care of during the month of Ramadan, especially oral hygiene and odor.
In this regard, Dr. Ansam Rifat from The Private Clinic in Dubai warns that most Muslims ignore caring for their teeth during the month of Ramadan, which leads to bad breath and dental diseases.
'Some people forget to brush their teeth within 24 hours because of fasting, so I recommend brushing and brushing teeth before bed and after suhoor. This means cleaning teeth twice a day and it is enough to prevent dental diseases,' Dr. Ansam says.
Dr. Ansam explains that during the fasting period, the mouth becomes dry, which leads to bad breath, so lack of interest in the teeth after iftar makes matters worse. She adds: 'Drinking water and eating fruits during the night or at suhoor helps keep the body hydrated and healthy, and it is important to examine the mouth regularly to detect any problems in the teeth such as inflammation or emptying.'
Dr. Ansam also recommends consulting a qualified dentist for those who have any concerns about the health of their mouth and teeth during the holy month.
