Ingredients:

- 2 cups of flour

- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 2 eggs

- Half a cup of fine powdered sugar

- 1 cup of dates, cut into small cubes

- 1 cup of hot water

- Half a cup of vegetable oil

- A large apple, peeled and cut into cubes.

Preparation method:

1- Mix the flour with the baking powder in a bowl, and set it aside.

2- In another bowl, beat the eggs with the fine sugar in the mixer. Electric kato on maximum speed for two minutes.

3- In a third bowl, soak half the amount of dates with hot water for a minute.

Then mash the dates with an electric hand blender.

4- Add the mashed dates and vegetable oil gradually to the mixture of eggs and fine sugar, whisking continuously until the mixture becomes homogeneous.

5- Gradually add the flour and baking powder mixture to them while continuing to beat with the mixer for a while. One minute or until the cake mixture is combined.

6- Add the peeled apples and the rest of the dates, and stir the mixture with a spoon.

7- Wipe a non-stick rectangular mold (25 ) for 35 to 45 minutes or until cooked.

Leave the cake aside until it cools, then turn it onto a serving plate.

9- Cut the cake into 15 equal pieces and serve.

Tip:

It is better to use brown flour because it is rich in fiber and vitamins. .
