The most important modern trends in interior design that you will see in home decorations next year 2021

Since 2020, when most of us spent months at home without going out due to the Coronavirus, our living rooms have transformed from sanctuaries into multifunctional spaces that now focus on work, education, entertainment and hospitality. So as we close in year to surely one of the most challenging and challenging years in modern history, interior designers and interior veterans are anticipating what they expect as the best design trends moving forward into 2021. Neutral color palette, comfy seats, state of art entertainment equipment and large dining tables are not Just a few of the trends that have emerged from all these days spent at home.

1- Relax and rest:

'For 2021, I feel there will be some major changes, moving away from mid-century furniture to a more relaxed and cozy look,' insists interior designer Juan Montoya, who believes living rooms will have more and more furniture. The chairs, albeit smaller in size. 'I believe unique pieces of furniture such as antiques or gorgeous carvings will be incorporated into the décor of the living room and entrance corridors.'

2- More seating areas:

“I think people want a comfortable, accessible, usable, and functional living room,” says A-List designer Mark Cunningham. With people having fun at home, he says, adding a game table, a multipurpose library table, and some seating areas for reading and relaxation will allow the family to stay together in the same room regardless of the activities they do the chase.

3- Luxurious Minimalism:

'One of the main home trends that shoppers will see in Spring 2021 is the concept of luxurious simplicity,' says Kelly Carter, Bloomingdale's Home Fashion Manager. “Since many of us work and learn from home, bringing in natural materials such as marble, wood and cane can create a sense of calm in our personal spaces.

4- Mixing strong colors mixed with neutral colors:

Houston-based designer J. Randall Bowers agrees by combining strong colors mixed with neutrals. As we bid farewell to 2020, Bowers thinks the Greens are definitely on the rise, along with a mix of antiques with newly added pieces. 'I can confidently say that the brown wood has returned with force for revenge,' he says. “As is wicker and straw.

5- High fashion accessories:

'For living rooms, we see plush, comfortable seating, rich colors and layered design,' says Mara Miller, director of A-List Carrier and Company. With Zoom wallpapers, accessories and design are finally getting the recognition they deserve. We're seeing accessories become bolder, more creative and personal in 2021.

6- Recreational spaces:

Says designer Brad Ford, 'due to the conditions of constant embargo and staying at home is becoming the new exit.' “Since people have had to, I think you'll notice more interest in what looks inside the house. Larger TVs, better sound systems, and more comfortable and thoughtful seats will be in living rooms and halls for enjoying new movies or great concerts. Dining indoors will change as well, with more attention being paid to beautifully designed kitchens, tables, chairs, plates and serving utensils. Over the past year, I think people have tried and will continue to strive out of the boredom of sitting at home for long periods of time.
