The Gulf kitchen is famous for using dates in most sweets and pastries, and also dates are included in some main dishes, and today I brought you a wonderful recipe of baked goods from the Gulf kitchen easy and simple, which is the recipe for biscuits stuffed with walnuts and dates, which is as follows:

Recipe ingredients:

3 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 small pinch of salt

1 teaspoon soft cardamom

1 cup light brown sugar

1/4 cup fine-grained sugar

1 cup soft butter

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon liquid vanilla

2 cups chopped dates

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon cardamom

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

1 cup crushed walnuts



How to prepare:



1. The dough: Sift the flour, bicarbonate, salt and cardamom.



2. In the bowl of a mixer, put the brown sugar, sugar and butter. Whisk with the mesh beater until fluffy

3. Add an egg and whisk add the second egg vanilla.



4. Put the flipping paddle, add flour and stir to get a dough.



5. Put it in the refrigerator for an hour.


6. Filling: In a saucepan, put dates, butter, cardamom, sugar and water. Let it cook over low heat until it becomes thick. Let it cool down, add the nuts.



7. Roll out the dough with a thickness of 1/2 cm. Bring 2 inch circular slices. Cut the dough.



8. Put the filler on the circle, put a circle on top.



9. Decorate the edges with a fork or dough decorating tool.



10. Place on trays, bake for 15 minutes, until golden.


11. Serve it with tea to your family.
