Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 cup short grain rice
2 tablespoons of oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons of pine nuts
1/4 teaspoon of mixed spices
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups of water
8 large tomatoes
200 gm ground beef
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon dried mint
To serve:
.. .. Yogurt
How to prepare:
1. Wash the rice several times and soak for 30 minutes
2. In a medium saucepan, put the oil and onions. Place the pot over medium heat. Using a wooden spoon my heart onions until soft. Add pine nuts and my heart until golden.
3. Add the pepper, cinnamon, salt and a cup of water. Descriptive rice and add to the saucepan. Let the rice cook on medium heat for 10 minutes or until all the water is absorbed. Let the rice cool completely. Add the meat, parsley and mint.
4. Install the mesh rack in the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to a temperature of 180 m. Bring a medium-sized oven dish.
5. Using a sharp knife, cut off part of the neck of the tomatoes. Using a small spoon, empty the tomatoes from the seeds.
6. Put the tomatoes in the oven dish. Divide the mixture of rice and meat in the tomato. Pour the rest of the water around the tomatoes. Wrap the dish with a piece of aluminium
7. Place the stuffed tomato dish in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until the tomatoes are soft.
8. Serve stuffed tomatoes with yogurt.
