Some women resort to using pills that delay menstruation. So that you can fast for the whole month .. What is the Islamic ruling on that?
Dr. Nasr Farid Wasel, the former Grand Mufti of Egypt, says about an issue that he answers:
- It is permissible for a woman to use pills to delay her menstruation, provided that there is no harm to her health from using them, so it is preferable to see a doctor who is specialized in this matter, even if he prefers to leave things as they are and spend those days after the purity of menstruation. Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: “This used to happen to us - that is, menstruation - so we were ordered to make up the fast and not to make it up.”
