Chicken with mushroom sauce
Ingredients:
- A kilo of chicken breasts
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms (mushrooms)
- 2 large chopped onions
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoon oil
- 2 cups of meat broth
- 5 tablespoons flour
- Salt and crushed black pepper
- A sprinkle of chopped parsley for garnish
Method:
In a bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, and cover with flour (dough only).
In a frying pan, sauté the chicken breasts in butter for 10 minutes, until brown, then remove from the frying pan and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté the mushroom pieces for 5 minutes, then remove from the pan and set aside.
Add oil to the butter in the same pan, and sauté the onions until they turn golden.
Add the flour to the onions and stir, then add the broth, salt and black pepper, stirring.
Add the mushrooms and chicken, and leave on low heat until the chicken is cooked and the sauce becomes thick.
Serve hot with white rice and vegetables, or fried potatoes and garnish with parsley...
