This is a fun way to replace your and your family's breakfast. Today I offer you cups or baskets of oats that you can make from last night and fill them in the morning with any filling you and your family prefer. You can also cool normal baskets or cups without filling and eat them all week long, with new additions every day! My favorites were peanut butter, jelly, banana, and cream. Very delicious. This meal is considered a healthy and delicious breakfast meal free of gluten for those who follow a special diet or who suffer from allergies to meals that contain wheat and the recipe is as follows:
Recipe ingredients:
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
2 ripe mashed bananas
1 1/2 c ground oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon maple syrup + 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/3 cup raisins
How to prepare:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mash the banana, add coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla and salt, and mix well. Mix the oats with the mixture and stir well. Stir in raisins. Using a large spoon, fill in a muffin cup, then press it with your fingers to create a basket shape. Bake for 15 minutes.
Let it cool and fill it with yogurt, bananas for a banana basket, cream, peanut butter, jelly (mashed raspberries and microwave for jelly), bananas, yogurt, and blueberries. Feel free to get creative here! Enjoy!
