250 g of dates, pitted
125 g of almonds
½ kg of thick slices of bacon
Wooden skewers

Preparation Method:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Soak the toothpicks in water for 15 minutes.
Cut the dates in half and place an almond in each date.
Wrap each date with ⅓ to ½ strip of bacon, using the toothpicks to secure them together.
Place the wrapped dates on a baking sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the bacon is browned and crispy.
